Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa, a former NBS TV Luganda news anchor, has opened up on rumors of his relationship with Isabella Tugume.
While Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa and Isabella Tugume still worked together at NBS TV, they once in a while recorded videos that gave the impression that they were lovers in the same workplace.
The videos made some start to claim that Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa and Isabella Tugume were partners off-screen.
Months after he left the station, Zambaali, who also previously hosted the Barometer show, spoke about his relationship with Tugume.
Now aspiring to be the Nansana Municipality MP on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket, Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa says their videos served as branding material.
To him, it was all acted.
He also swore that after Next Media, each one went their separate way.
“At Next Media, we often have discussions on how to best promote the brand and ourselves individually. We realized that the two topics people are most interested in are love and politics,” Zambaali was quoted as saying in a recent media interview.
“I already had the political angle covered, so we chose to pretend to be in a relationship, me and Isabella.”
He added that the show of closeness was “purely for professional reasons” and that “it never went beyond the studio.”
“Doesn’t it make you question which employer would keep you on when you are supposedly in a rom@ntic relationship?”
Meanwhile, Museveni’s granddaughter has been engaged, and her wedding is expected soon. (See Details Here).
