Outgoing Vision Group CEO Robert Kabushenga has revealed what he will focus on after leaving the topmost job at Uganda’s largest media conglomerate.
Kabushenga has been CEO for 14 years.
The 53-year old announced his resignation in an email sent to staff on January 29.
But the Vision Group board asked Kabushenga to work out a smooth transition plan in the next 90 days.
Now, hours after news of his resignation – or early retirement – Kabushenga has told friends he will retire to farming after “dropping the mic at Vision Group.’
“I will now go to grow coffee full time at Rugyeyo Farm,” he revealed.
But Kabushenga could be lined up for a job in a government agency, sources claimed Friday.
