Ugandan Singer Daudi Mugema Found Dead in Hotel Room

Ugandan singer Daudi Mugema is dead. The lifeless body of Mugema was found in a hotel in Gulu City. The circumstances surrounding his death are not yet clear.

But it is said that Daudi Mugema had made a trip to the northern Ugandan city of Gulu to meet President Yoweri Museveni’s young brother and Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) coordinator Gen Caleb Akandwanaho aka Gen Salim Saleh.

It is said that Daudi Mugema had gone to Gen Salim Saleh to seek financial help from him.

Months ago, Gen Salim Saleh said he was tired of musicians going to his Gulu home to beg from him, as reported Here.

Police are yet to offer details on how Daudi Mugema, known for his ‘Katonda Wabanaku Teyebaka,’ met his death.

Many on social media have been paying tribute to Daudi Mugema following the news of his demise.
