The Spire family has released a tentative burial program for Dr John Spire Kiggudu, brother to cartoonist, activist and academic Dr Jimmy Spire Ssentongo.
According to the tentative program shared by Dr Jimmy Spire Ssentongo, there will be a requiem mass at Lweza Parish at 1pm on Monday, 23rd June, 2025.
There will be mass at Henrob Hospital, which was owned by Dr John Spire Kiggundu, starting at 4pm on 23rd June 2025.
An official vigil will happen at the home of Dr John Spire Kiggundu in Bunamwaya Nfuufu, Zzana on Monday, 23rd June, 2025.
The body of Dr Kiggundu will depart for Masaka on Tuesday.
There will be a vigil at home in Kalisizo of Kyotera district on Tuesday, 24th June.
Burial of the body of the late Dr John Spire Kiggundu will happen on Wednesday at his home in
Kalisizo, after Lusaka, on 25th June, 2025.
