
The Education Service Commission (ESC), under the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), has released the lists showing the names of teachers and non-teaching staff shortlisted for oral interviews for government payroll jobs for Tooro seed schools.
Weeks ago, the Education Service Commission (ESC) shortlisted over 3800 teachers (graduates – referred to as education officers – EO and diploma holders or assistant education officers – AEO) as well as non-teaching staff like enrolled nurses, laboratory assistants, library assistants, stenographer secretaries and senior accountant assistants, for aptitude tests for government payroll jobs in seed secondary schools in Tooro and Bunyoro regions.

The over 3800 shortlisted candidates did aptitude tests under Clusters 6 and 7, (Tooro and Bunyoro), under the recruitment exercise for teachers and non-teaching staff for secondary seed schools under the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers Program (UGIFT).
Now, the ESC has shortlisted teachers and non-teaching staff for oral interviews scheduled for next week.
“The Secretary Education Service Commission, informs candidates who did aptitude tests under Cluster 6 (Tooro
Region), that the shortlists for successful candidates for oral interviews, are hereby released. Successful candidates will be subjected to oral interviews from Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th and Monday 30th June
2025,” announced Education Service Commission permanent secretary Dr Asuman Lukwago.
“The oral interviews will be conducted in KAMPALA at SESEMAT HOSTEL, KOLOLO SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, starting at 8:00 am each Day. Shortlisted candidates should come along with originals of their Academic! Professional Certificates and Transcripts, plus National Identity Card.”
