LIST: Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Shortlisted for Oral Interviews for Government Payroll Jobs in Central Uganda Seed Schools

The Education Service Commission (ESC) has released lists of candidates shortlisted for oral interviews for government payroll jobs in seed secondary schools in the Central Region, under the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers (UGIFT) programme.

The shortlisted applicants include teachers or education officers and assistant education officers  (graduates and diploma holders) as well as non-teaching staff such as laboratory assistants, library assistants, stenographer secretaries, enrolled nurses, and senior accountant assistants.

According to the Commission, the candidates successfully passed earlier stages of the recruitment process, including aptitude tests, and have now been cleared to proceed to the oral interview stage.

The oral interviews will be conducted in Kampala at SESEMAT Hostel, Kololo Senior Secondary School, starting at 8:00 a.m. each day. Candidates are required to report with their original academic and professional documents, transcripts, and National Identity Cards.

The Commission emphasized that only shortlisted candidates are eligible to attend the interviews and urged all applicants to strictly adhere to the schedules provided.

Central Region Seed Schools Shortlisted Candidates

The lists with names of shortlisted candidates from each seed school in Central Region are below:

1. Kalubbubu-Seed SS Ssembabule
2. Kiganda-Seed SS Kassanda
3. Kyakiddu-Seed SS Kassanda
4. Lugusulu Seed SS Ssembabule
5. Mataba-Seed SS Kayunga
6. Seeta COU Seed SS Mityana
7. St Joseph Seed SS Kasambya Nakaseke

The recruitment exercise is part of the ongoing government effort to strengthen staffing in secondary seed schools under the UGIFT programme, which aims to improve access and quality of education in underserved areas.

Successful candidates from the oral interviews are expected to be considered for placement onto the government payroll, depending on final selection outcomes.
