LIST: See Names of Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Appointed on Government Payroll for Teso and Karamoja Seed Schools

The Education Service Commission (ESC) has released the results of interviews for personnel appointed to serve in Government seed secondary schools under the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers (UGIFT) programme in the Teso/Karamoja region.

The appointments cover teaching and non-teaching positions at 13 listed seed secondary schools and a UGIFT programme establishment, with each school receiving a complement of Education Officers, Assistant Education Officers and support staff.

The Commission said the successful candidates interviewed between July 27 and August 7, 2026, under External Advert No. 3/2025 and its addendum, should collect their notification letters in person from the ESC Registry at Farmers House, Parliamentary Avenue, Kampala.

Candidates have been instructed to present their original identification cards when collecting the letters.

The schools covered include Adea, Kiru, Agirigiroi, Okore, Akoboi, Dakabela Comprehensive, Lokori, Alito, Oriamo, Amolo, Okulonyo, Apeduru and Getom seed secondary schools.

The Commission also made clear that candidates whose names do not appear on the released lists should consider themselves unsuccessful.

Adea Seed Secondary School, Abim District

The appointed Education Officers are Achilla Alfred Omara (Agriculture), Kabugho Janet (Biology), Okidi Francis Asoni (Chemistry), Erongu George (Economics), Amuge Dorcus (English), Nena Gabriel (Fine Art), Otim Denish (Geography), Musana Emmanuel (History), Dondo Raphael Tauti (ICT), Ayo Isaac (Mathematics), Ayeko Davis (Physical Education), Okello Isaac Cosmas (Physics) and Obina Robinson (Religious Studies).

Assistant Education Officers are Oyeng Geoffrey, Obwona Charles Oyok, Odongo Benard, Ekii Godswill, Aciro Agnes Onyera, Apio Susan Betty, Matisko Edson, Tabu Vincent and Ayebare Syruce, covering subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Geography, History, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Physics and Business Studies.

The non-teaching appointments listed are Orach Daniel, Ochen Godfrey, Obote Daniel and Eimani Gladys, for positions including Senior Assistant Accountant, Stenographer Secretary, Enrolled Nurse and Laboratory Assistant.

Kiru Seed Secondary School, Abim District

Education Officers appointed at Kiru include Nalyanya Patricia, Mutonyi Claire, Mukidi Geofrey, Awilli Deborah, Alwak Rosecovia, Nakoli Norah, Kulany Erieza, Oyugi Jimmy Rowland, Sande Ronald, Oluka Emmanuel, Ogala Pius, Masereka Ezira and Ojur Daniel.

Assistant Education Officers include Lawino Margret, Balikowa Stephen, Kiprop Emmanuel, Musika Moses, Khalayi Rebecca, Aisu Peter, Mwesige Nicholas, Dumba Ali and Okoboi Rogers. The list covers subjects ranging from Biology and Chemistry to English, Geography, History, Kiswahili, Mathematics and Physics.

The six non-teaching staff are Chemutai Vivian, Kyande Gerald, Mpaata Kuzeifa, Kwaga Sarah, Ocira Angel Gabriel and Chebe Esther, appointed as Enrolled Nurse, Laboratory Assistants, Library Assistant, Senior Assistant Accountant and Stenographer Secretary.

Agirigiroi Seed Secondary School, Ngora District

The appointed Education Officers are Edepu Aaron, Namataka Betty, Mukwaya Isma, Okurut Stanslus, Elaju Daniel, Kiprop Isaac, Olinga Herbert, Namugoya Olive, Nabuzembe Rajibu, Katto Emmanuel, Idiman Joseph, Wetala Andrew Mubajje and Apio Elizabeth. Their subjects include Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Entrepreneurship, English, Fine Art, Geography, History, ICT, Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics and Religious Studies.

Assistant Education Officers include Apio Mary, Ariong Paul, Ojele Benard, Among Christine Okiror, Aigi Malisa Judith, Aimo Debula Sarah, Erongot Martin, Aisu Justine and Kagwa Hassan.

The non-teaching staff are Odoge Augustine, Adong Anna Grace, Chemos Raisa, Wakhata Ken and Atim Naume Catherine, covering accounting, secretarial, nursing and laboratory duties.

Okore Seed Secondary School, Katakwi District

The ESC list names Ilemut Emmanuel, Okurut Simon Peter, Wosukila Richard, Onyait Deo, Atim Lililan, Kyakimwa Oliver, Ayomo Brenda, Abwin Judith Caroline, Rupanza Richard, Okiror Joseph, Tusemerirwe Angerina, Komagum Robine and Apio Salume as Education Officers.

Assistant Education Officers are Olupot Gabriel, Amanya Ronald, Niwampeire Christine, Nkwanzi Lydia, Omedo Francis, Saano Brenda, Nuwasiima Simplisio, Cokon Bosco and Nabajje Timothy.

Non-teaching appointments went to Angole Susan Sarah, Apio Sarah, Acham Sarah Carol, Atim Anjuleta Ataro, Turnuhamye Ronald and Kabugho Josephine.

Akoboi Seed Secondary School, Katakwi District

Education Officers appointed at Akoboi are Okello Julius, Kamunanwire Isamel, Opiyo Reagan, Aryatuha Javilla, Acheberom Irene, Malinga Robert, Chemutai Ezekiel, Atwijukire Dickson, Odoch Ceasar, Odongo Calvin, Angobu Joseph, Muzahura Frank and Asumwe Emmanuel.

Assistant Education Officers include Ainebyoona Aloysius, Molt Mary, Ojok Kenneth, Pedun Dinah Aguti, Odongo Denish, Outeke Joseph, Tugumisirize Benjamin, Rubarenzva Rodoers and Ilingat Agnes.

The non-teaching staff are Akol John Patrick, Anyango Julliet, Abukoli Alex, Ojur Tom, Mukose Steven and Natukunda Mary.

Dakabela Comprehensive Secondary School, Soroti District

The appointed Education Officers are Ebong Jaspher, Asisi Solomon, Okello Patrick, Ocen Quinto, Aguti Catherine, Akuno Sandra Salome, Emeru Lodofic, Engwau Anthony, Ameu Emmanuel, Ewiny Charles, Siwa Wuseiri, Nyamwiza Immaculate and Ejuru Emmanuel.

Assistant Education Officers include Epechu Richard, Aceng Gladys Awoi, Omer Sylvesters, Eroju Samuel, Ochege Simon, Asire Glades Norah, Ikagala Deogracious, Edunyu Samuel and Ojok Isaac Ronny.

Lokori Seed Secondary School, Karenga District

The Education Officers appointed at Lokori are Drabile William, Okeny Peter, Kibwota Ivan, Namulondo Hellen, Auma Judith Omony, Ichumar Brenda, Oloya David Opala, Okumu Lawrence, Ayella Jimmy and Namara Charity, with additional officers listed for Physical Education, Physics and Religious Studies.

Assistant Education Officers include Atandu Jimmy, Obote Charles Dicken, Olila Jaspher, Adero Esther Queen, Atwine Atwist, Nakwang Jane Konyen, Mandela Omar, Nalubega Brenda and Komakech Francis.

The list identifies Olinga Emmanuel, Thembo Joshua, Kibirige Livinghope, Mukhwana Aron, Ajilong Milcah, Odom Jonathan, Opolot Ivan Walter, Twinomujuni Milton, Babirye Rose, Osako Nelson, Ebiot Daniel, Masiga Raphael and Iyura Mariam as Education Officers.

Assistant Education Officers are Ekaru Yonah, Oleng Bonny, Obonipe Micheal, Opige Abraham, Opila Simon, Abic Brenda Loyce, Kanyesigye Felex, Opio Joseph and Engole Christopher.

Non-teaching appointments went to Okello Gabriel, Alinga Gloria, Katooko Rebecca, Cheptoek Levi, Okema Brian and Igitu Deborah.

Oriamo Seed School, Kaberamaido District

The appointed Education Officers are Odulai Nicholas, Twinamatsiko Didas, Okot Morish, Aran Calvin, Obonyo Jimmy, Opiding Timothy, Eleru Yuven, Abia Amoline, Hakiri Arron, Namusoke Robina, Amen Isaac, Mahirwe Jovanith and Ejang Cicelia.

Assistant Education Officers are Obel Daniel, Andeku Christopher, Acopu Joel, Ouni Moris, Engwena Solomon, Agudo Tabisa, Turyahebwa Evan, Acola Stella and Oule Anthony.

Okulonyo Seed Secondary School, Katakwi District

The Education Officers appointed at Apeduru are Ingwara Mary Patricia, Tumuhimbise Vicent, Opolot Henry Joseph, Okodan Justine Julius, Anumo Immaculate, Amongin Jolly Grace, Adome Samuel Ojula, Natozo Margret Catherine, Biriibwa Simon, Aburu Stephen, Akuilo Fatuma, Ojanga Daniel and Kigoonya Stephen.

Assistant Education Officers are Okello Isaac, Eyurnu Faustine, Adilu Solomon, Ighala Veronica, Okodel Ivan, Alungat Florence, Kule Leonard, Tukashaba Kasimu and Nuwahereza Adrine.

The non-teaching appointments are Apio Alice Christine, Katooko Hajjara, Alinga Everlyn, Mutenyo Lydia, Olwa Timmy Ambrose and Odeng Franco.

Getom Seed Secondary School, Katakwi District

The Getom list names Icakai Everline, Lubega Tonny Kizza, Nduhuura Confort, Ilungole Joseph, Awor Donnah, Omoja Sam, Ecegu Simon, Agaba Nostorio, Muslimenta Immaculate and Omoding Tom among the Education Officers. Additional officers listed are Kirui Kalistus, Namanya Isaac and Maraka Aron for Physics, Physical Education and Religious Studies.

Assistant Education Officers are Atubait Gabriel, Kwesiga Raymond, Otukei David Lazarus, Saano Margaret, Achom Tabisa Ruth, Edrako Gloria, Mwebaza Ambrose, Eleru Jacob and Opio Daniel Ceaser.

The non-teaching staff are Adongo Ketty, Chelangat Anne, Abulo Hellen Rose, Odin Israel, Katumba Reagan and Chelangat Winny.

The Education Service Commission said successful candidates should collect their notification letters on the dates assigned to their respective schools. The first group is scheduled for September 2, 2026, while the remaining schools are scheduled for September 3, 2026.
