Officials in President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s government are unhappy with a resolution passed by the European Parliament regarding oil projects by Uganda and Tanzania.

Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition boss Raila Amollo Odinga has attacked the Supreme Court of Kenya over their ruling in the 2022 presidential election petition, saying it was inspired by the devil (Satan himself) and not God.

Kenyan opposition leader Raila Amollo Odinga has declined President-elect Dr William Samoei Ruto’s invitation to Tuesday, September 13 swearing-in ceremony at Kasarani.

Ahead of his swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, President-elect William Ruto has revealed what his first assignment will be when he takes over from his former boss Uhuru Kenyatta at State House Kenya.

Dr William Samoei Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua will be sworn in as president and deputy president of the Republic of Kenya next Tuesday as a new administration takes over for a five-year term running until August 2027. 

Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, the outgoing fourth President of the Republic of Kenya, has made it clear that he will always honor Raila Amolo Odinga as his leader and president, but reiterated that will hand over State House to his hitherto deputy William Samoei Ruto.
