Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has this morning held discussions — or what some suspect to have been some sort of grilling — with Lt Gen Muhoozi Kaineruga, his son, Commander of UPDF Land Forces and senior advisor on special operations, over ‘scary’ tweets on Nairobi capture.
On Monday, October 03, 2022, Lt Gen Kainerugaba whipped up a storm with Kenyans when he said his army has the capacity to capture Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, in two weeks.
Kenyans reacted by ‘roasting’ Muhoozi, forcing him to ‘cease’ fire and say he had forgiven them and would work for the unity of East Africa as opposed to cherishing boundaries set by colonialists. (Read some of Kenyans’ reactions to Muhoozi’s Nairobi capture tweet Here.
Now, following the Monday evening tweets, Muhoozi himself has revealed that he held ‘a good discussion’ with his father over his writing on capturing Nairobi.
Lt Gen Kainerugaba also revealed that he had assured his father Gen Museveni that the younger generation had resolved to unite the region into one huge successful country and that nobody would block their commitment to this union.
He also hinted on changes that his father would announce — changes based on which he would pray for “our army.”
“Had a good discussion with my great father this morning. Apparently, my tweets scared Kenyans too much? He will announce the changes. There is a special prayer I shall make for our army,” wrote the Ugandan first son, said to be the country’s ‘crown prince.’

“As I told my father H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni, we younger East Africans have decided that we will be one nation! No amount of threats will stop us from that goal!”

Minutes later, Muhoozi added: “Union is a MUST! No honourable men can allow these artificial, colonial borders anymore. If we our generation has men then these borders must fall!”
Hours earlier, Muhoozi had made a shocking revelation on taking over power from his father Gen Museveni in 2026, saying time was up for the older generation. (Read Story Here).
This bombshell on Muhoozi’s 2026 plan would come as shocking to Minister Norbert Mao, the self-appointed midwife of Uganda’s peaceful transition from Museveni. A few days ago, Norbert Mao revealed the year when Gen Museveni’s will peacefully hand over power to a new president who will lead a new Uganda. (Read Story Here).
