First son and UPDF Commander Land Forces (CLF) Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has labelled National Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi an “imbecile.”
Recently, CLF Lt Gen Kainerugaba said he was awaiting orders from his father Gen Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni to fly and flush Guinea Conakry coup leaders out.
In the characteristic NUP line of criticism of the Museveni government, Ssenyonyi responded by labelling Lt Gen Kainerugaba ‘daddy’s boy.”
The Nakawa West MP also promised to lecture the first son about how his father took over power.
Ssenyonyi also tasked Kainerugaba to first catch the Masaka Bijambiya gang, some of whom government security agencies believe were commanded by NUP MPs Allan Ssewanyana of Makindye West and Muhammad Ssegirinya of Kawempe North, before talking about the Guinea coup.
“Daddy’s boy, on another day I’ll remind you about how your Daddy took power,” said Ssenyonyi.
“For now though, first capture the real killers of the people in Masaka and deal with insecurity in Karamoja and elsewhere before you get excited.”
Clearly irked by Ssenyonyi’s response, the first son labelled the NUP spokesperson an “imbecile.”
