US President Joe Biden Sends Pleasant Message to Besigye’s & Bobi Wine’s Number One Enemy

US President Joe Biden has sent a special message to Uganda’s president Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni, also the main political enemy for main opposition leaders Dr Kizza Besigye and Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

Joe Biden special message came days ahead of Ugandas’ 59th Independence Anniversary.

Uganda will mark her 59th independence Day on October 09 under the theme: ‘Celebrating our 59th Independence Day as we secure our future through national mindset Change.’

Due to Covid19, Uganda will hold a scientific national celebration at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.T

Ahead of the celebrations, Joe Biden sent his special message to Museveni through the US ambassador to Uganda Natalie Brown.

Besigye and Bobi Wine have for years wished that the US government would stop recognizing Museveni as the legitimate president of Uganda.

But the president has always found a way of working with the Americans, positioning himself as the most feared president in the region, whose exit would make the Great Lakes Region insecure.

Ambassador Brown, and Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Kampala Christopher Krafft met Museveni at State House Entebbe.

State foreign minister in charge of international relations Henry Okello Oreym and permanent secretary Vincent Waiswa Bagiire were also in the meeting.

In the meeting, Museveni and Ambassador Brown discussed relations between the US and Uganda, regional security and the Covid19 response.

Regarding the latter issue, the US has donated up to 1.6 million doses of Covid19 vaccine doses.

Museveni has confirmed receiving a special message from the elderly Joe Biden.

“I met with USA Ambassador to Uganda H.E. Natalie Brown who called on me at State House Entebbe. We discussed bilateral and regional issues,” said Museveni.

“The Ambassador also delivered a special message from H.E Joe Biden.”
