Kenyans online are calling on Alicia Kanini to fulfil her promise to Harambee Stars, her country’s football team at the CHAN 2024 tournament.
Alicia Kanini, who is 21 years old, is known for her content on TikTok and other social media channels.
Ahead of the game between Kenya and Zambia at Kasarani Stadium, Alicia Kanini promised two free rounds to all Harambee Stars if the team beats Zambia.
“”I will give two rounds free to all Harambee stars players if they beat Zambia at Kasarani Stadium,” promised Alicia Kanini.
At the end of the game, Rambok Ryan Wesley Ogam had scored the goal that secured Harambee Stars three points.
Kenya led group A with 10 points and will now head into the quarterfinals.
Now, Kenyans are demanding that Alicia Kanini should fulfil her promise. Some are even wondering if her promise is what motivated the Harambee Stars – of if they were motivated by the promises of money by President William Ruto or Raila Odinga.
