THE HIGHEST JUDGE IS ON MY SIDE: Muhoozi Sends Clear Warning to ‘Small Hater’ City Lawyer Who Has Dragged Him to Court over ‘Treasonous’ Birthday Celebrations

First son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has spoken out on a petition filed by city lawyer Gawaya Tegulle seeking orders for the prosecution of President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s child over his 48th birthday celebrations and the political statements made by the senior military officer and his supporters.

Through his lawyers of M/s Thomas & Michael Advocates and M/s Nalukoola Advocates & Solicitors, Tegulle, the advocate and former television host, wants the Constitutional Court to made declarations and orders against Lt Gen Kainerugaba (the first respondent), and two others: Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Wilson Mbasu Mbadi and Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka.

Tegulle wants court to declare that Muhoozi’s actions, activities, conduct and character while serving as an army officer, contravene Articles 2,3,21,208(2), 208(3), 209 and 210 of the Constitution of the Republic Uganda.

The other declaration Tegulle is seeking is that the inaction, inertia and omissions of CDF Gen Mbadi in as far as he has failed, refused or otherwise omitted to supervise, oversee, restrain or otherwise call Muhoozi to order, to cease and desist from mounting a political campaign while still serving in the army, is/are unconstitutional.

The lawyer also wants court to declare that the failure or refusal by the AG Kiwanuka to provide legal advice to the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces in general and Muhoozi in particular, to cease and desist from mounting a political campaign while still serving in the army is unconstitutional.

He also seeks declarations that the first son committed the offence of treason and is liable to prosecution in accordance with the law as laid down.

But describing himself as the third most unstoppable lion after his father Gen Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni and his ‘Uncle’ Paul Kagame, the Rwandan leader, Muhoozi has responded to the suit against him telling Tegulle that his movement is unstoppable and that he has the ‘Highest Judge’ on his side.

“I hear some small haters are disturbed that the third unstoppable lion has overtaken them. They will learn what the people of Uganda want! The growth of the Ugandan young patriotic movement is simply unstoppable. The voices of the young people will be heard in Uganda!” said Muhoozi.

“Those who made a career in abusing me, and were used to nobody in NRM standing up for me are now running to the courts because the people have overwhelmed them! All the people of Uganda already know the Highest Judge of all is already with this people’s revolution!!!”

On May 07, Muhoozi concluded his 48th birthday celebrations at an event held at Entebbe Criicket Oval where he was endorsed for president starting 2026 and beyond according to the resolutions of what is now called the Entebbe Assembly. (Read Story Here).
