Staff and managers at Next Media Services, whose Chief Executive Officer (CEO), after Doreen Katusiime Mweheire, the group chief of staff, died in Turkey.
Katusiime had gone to Turkey to seek medical treatment.
It is in Turkey where she was pronounced dead today, Monday, October 03, 2022.
She was aged 37.
“Management regrets to announce the untimely death of our Chief of Staff and Chief Productions Officer, Mrs Doreen Katusiime Mweheire, that occured today, Monday, October 03, 2022,” read a death announcement by Next Media Services.
“Doreen had travelled to Turkey for medical attention. Updates on vigil and burial arrangements shall be shared in due course. We commiserate together with her entire family and friends.”
Next Media Group CEO Kin Kariisa said: “The news of your passing is tough to take, Doreen Katusiime Mweheire, you have been more than just our Next Media Chief of Staff – a friend who knew me and that I could trust. You always looked out for the best for us; for all that, I will miss you. Rest in Peace, DK.”
Doreen Katusiime’s death happened just two days after the launch of the Next Media Park, a milestone the chief of staff contributed towards. (Read Story Here).
