Singer Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo better known by her stage name Baby Gloria was in the spotlight this week as photos of her engagement appeared online.
Aged 23, Baby Gloria said the engagement was “the best moment of my life,” and her fiancé as “my best friend.” Thus, “Praise the Lord, I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Best moment of my life.”

It emerged that Baby Gloria’s fiancé is Jonathan Mbaleka. In some circles, he is simply, Jonas Mbaleka.
Like Baby Gloria, Jonas Mbaleka or Jonathan Mbaleka (whichever you prefer) is a singer and song writer in the gospel music circles.
Heard of songs like Centre Of It All, You Girl, Togenda, and Njagala Gwe? Then you know Baby Gloria’s fiancé Jonas Mbaleka. There he goes by the stage name Jonas Rayme.
Baby Gloria Mother Betty Nakibuuka Speaks Out
In one interview, Baby Gloria’s mother Betty Nakibuuka, herself a singer, said she had not been part of the engagement outing.
That her daughter, her close associate and her son-in-law-to-be had flown out of the country for the engagement.
For her, she added, she thought it was supposed to be a normal outing outside Uganda. Betty Nakibuuka would later learn that the pictures of Baby Gloria’s engagement were kept for a certain day when they would officially be released.
But Baby Gloria would later inform her that the photos had leaked themselves. And while Baby Gloria and her fiancé were thinking of deleting the photos which reportedly leaked themselves, Nakibuuka advised them to leave them online.
That she had learnt of the self-leaked photos after the family prayers at 3am in the morning. Betty Nakibuuka also noted that just like one has to wait to go to heaven even after being born again, there seemed to still be a long way for Baby Gloria and her fiancé.
Previously, there were reports that Baby Gloria had replaced Sheilah Gashumba as God’s Plan’s girlfriend. Netizens also expressed doubts when, a few years ago, Baby Gloria said that God had given her a car. (See Details Here and There).
