Photos: Barefooted Amuriat surprises police in Mbarara; blocked at Rays Hotels, appears at Supermarket for shopping

Main opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat (POA) December 24 surprised police in Mbarara when they blocked him from leaving Rays Hotel, only for him to show up at Day-to-Day Supermarket for shopping.

Amuriat spent the night at Rays Hotel, only to wake up to heavy security that had besieged the hotel to block the defiant presidential candidate from leaving.

Amuriat campaigned in Ibanda, Kazo, Kiruhura and Mbarara City on December 23 and is expected in Lwengo, Lyantonde and Ssembabule on December 24.
