Presidential candidate Willy Mayambala has announced the cabinet he would work with if he is elected president in 2021.
Mayambala says he is confident he will win the January 14 presidential election and end President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s 34-year rule.
He would appoint main opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat (POA) his vice president and National Unity Platform (NUP) aspirant Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine his first deputy prime minister.
In November, while campaigning in Mpigi Town Council, Mayambala had promise to appoint Bobi Wine entertainment minister.
Democratic Party (DP) flag bearer Norbert Mao would become prime minister, Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) candidate Maj Gen (Rtd) Gregg Mugisha Muntu would be security minister, Museveni would take up the East Africa Community Affairs docket while Lt Gen Henry Kakurugu Tumukunde would handle defence issues.
John Katumba would be minister of relief and disaster preparedness, Nancy Kalembe would head gender and social affairs, Joseph Kiiza Kabuleta would be in charge of ethics and integrity while Fred Mwesigye would be sent to the agriculture docket.
