Ugandans on social media have bashed ‘human rights’ lawyer Nicholas Opiyo and his Chapter Four Uganda NGO for condemning the arrest and alleged anal examination homosexuals arrested during a raid on ‘an LGBTQ’ shelter, disrupting a gay wedding.
In a statement that followed the arrest of 44 homosexuals, Chapter Four Uganda condemned the arrest, and revealed it was working with other organizations like Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG) to secure bail for the 44.
But the statement from Opiyo’s Chapter Four Uganda was greeted with condemnation from Ugandans.
