Deputy speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among has named Ibanda North MP Xavier Akampurira Kyooma the chairperson of a select committee to investigate allegations that science, technology and innovation minister Dr Monica Musenero misused Shs31bn meant for the development of Covid19 vaccine.
The committee was announced during November 10 plenary.
The Kyooma-chaired select committee will have Paul Omara, Aisha Kabanda, Solomon Silwany and Tony Awany as members.
Among has given the committee two weeks within which to present their report before further action is taken.
