Rwizi Regional Police spokesperson Samson Kasasira has revealed that identities of the two men killed in a gas cylinder explosion in Mbarara.
The November 30 morning explosion also left scores injured.
According to Kasasira, the deceased are: Kasozi Kussein, aged 19 years and Baker Kisinde aged 30 years.
Two more gas cylinders from the scene were taken to the Mbarara Central Police Station.
“The scene of crime was visited by a police team comprising bomb experts, scene of crime officers, homicide unit among others from the criminal,” added Kasasira,
“We also collected samples of the fragments dislodged from the exploded gas cylinder and recovered two more gas cylinders from the workshop which are exhibited at CPS Mbarara. Further inquiries continue.”
