Two Security guards found dead in Mbarara

Police in Mbarara is investigating the circumstances under which two security guards guarding at Nyakayojo people’s sacco were found dead in karama1 cell Rwakisakizi ward Nyakayojo Division, Mbarara city.

Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi region police spokesperson said that a team of investigators rushed to the scene on inquiries.

According to Kasasira, the two guards identified as Herbert Tugume 22yrs a resident of Kitabo cell Kitabo Parish in Kashongi subcounty, Kiruhura District and lgga Budalla 22yrs resident of Buteraniro in Nyeihanga Rwampara district both attached to securiwise security company.

Kasasira revealed that the deceased were hit with blunt objects and died, their Rifle with three rounds and a baton were recovered at the scene.
