The Education Service Commission (ESC) has released dates and venues for oral interviews for shortlisted candidates seeking employment as Education Officers (EOs), Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) and non-teaching staff in government schools across the Teso and Karamoja regions.
The interviews will take place from July 27 to August 7, 2026, at Teso College Aloet in Soroti City, with sessions beginning at 8:00am each day, according to a notice issued by the Commission.

The exercise follows External Advert No. 3/2025 and its addendum, under which the Commission invited applications for various positions in schools established under the government education expansion programme.
The Secretary of the Education Service Commission informed applicants that shortlists of successful candidates have been published and advised those selected to carefully read and understand the interview guidelines attached to each shortlist before appearing before the panels.
During the first week of the exercise, running from July 27 to July 31, interviews will be conducted for candidates shortlisted under several schools, including ADEA Seed Secondary School, AGIRIGIROI Seed Secondary School, AKOBOI Seed Secondary School, ALAKAS Seed Secondary School, ALITO Seed Secondary School, AMOLO Seed Secondary School and APEDURU Seed Secondary School.
The second phase, scheduled for August 3 to August 7, will cover candidates attached to KIRU Seed Secondary School, OKORE Seed Secondary School, DAKABELA Seed Secondary School, LOKORI Seed Secondary School, ORIAMO Seed Secondary School, OKULONYO Seed Secondary School and GETOM Seed Secondary School.
The oral interviews are part of the Commission’s recruitment process to fill staffing gaps in government schools, particularly in newly established institutions across different regions. Similar interview exercises have previously been conducted for other regions under the same recruitment advert, including Central and Busoga regions.
Candidates participating in the Soroti interviews are expected to appear on their scheduled dates with the required documents and follow instructions issued by the Education Service Commission.
