Last week, The Pearl Times shared the list with names and salaries of Museveni State House most highly paid staff earning between Shs30m and Shs10m. Today, we delve into the list with names of about 200 staff at State House (and president’s office) earning Shs10m and below – and what they do.

State House Uganda and President’s Office have more employees than most ministries, departments and agencies of government.

The list, which The Pearl Times has seen, includes assistant private secretaries, private secretaries, photographers, communication officers, flight attendants, Information Technology (IT) officers, auditors, and chemical engineers, electrical engineers.

The are also senior legal officers, principal ICT officers, nursing officers, agricultural officers, extension officers, agronomists, animal husbandry officers, cleaners, data management officers, documentation officers, garage foremen, and assistants to the first lady.

Museveni state house also employs press officers, scientific officers, senior engineering assistants, senior radio technicians, and special presidential assistants, among other roles.

This list, The Pearl Times would like to be clear, may not exhaustive. As a matter of fact, it is a continuation of the one with most highly paid state house staff earning between Shs30m and Shs10m.

It includes the staff that are paid below Shs10m but not below Shs3m. This publication understands that there are several State House staff earning below Shs3m.

Below are the lists with Names of 200 Museveni State House staff earning shs10m and below – and what they do:
