The Ministry of Education and Sports’ Education Service Commission (ESC) has released the list of Ugandans who have been confirmed on government payroll and those re-designated.
The list includes teaching and non-teaching staff. Besides those who have been confirmed in service on government payroll and those who have been re-designated, others have been granted study leave.
Now, the over 700 are expected to pick relevant letters from the office of Permanent Secretary Kedrace Turyagyenda.
“The Secretary, Education Service Commission informs Teaching and Non-teaching personnel whose names appear in the lists below, that they have been redesignated, granted study leave while others have been confirmed in service,” said acting ESC secretary Mohammed Kaaya.
“The concerned personnel are requested to contact the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Sports for issuance of relevant letters.”

Meanwhile, the same Education Service Commission under the Ministry of Education and Sports is currently recruiting over 2,000 teachers and non-teaching staff for seed schools. But Parliament wants to block the recruitment over corruption, bribery and nepotism. (See Details Here and There).
