Uganda Police Force (UPF) has released an additional list for interviews hours before the start of countrywide interviews for recruitment of 10,000 probationer police constables (PPCs).
A notice authorized by police’s Suwed Asuman indicated that the nearly 500 candidates should also “report at the respective recruitment centers on the scheduled dates and time for interviews.”
Interviews for now about 17,000 candidates will begin on April 28, and will run until early May 2025.
“The interviews will include fitness test, aptitude test, oral test, medical examination,” the notice of additional list of successful candidates read.
“All shortlisted candidates are required to come with the following: original national identity card or confirmation of information on the register of NIRA, original academic documents, and for those who completed UCE in 2024, a certified copy of the results from the school must be provided.”
The notice also reminded candidates that interviews will be conducted at designated recruitment centers on respective dates, with shortlisted applicants required to report at the respective recruitment centers by 8am.
