Interviews for 16600 shortlisted for police jobs start tomorrow, according to the schedule showing venues and dates as released by the administration of Uganda Police Force (UPF).
Recently, police shortlisted 16678 candidates from the several thousands who had responded to calls for applications for the post of probationer police constables advertised in March 2025.
The force wants to hired 10,000 probationer police constables (PPCs) with a minimum qualification of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE).
According the schedule released by police, the shortlisted candidates will do for interviews starting Monday, April 28, 2025.
The interviews will include a fitness test, an aptitude test, an oral test, and a medical examination. Interviewers will need to look at the candidates’ original national identity card, and original academic documents.
The recruitment interview schedule for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) 2025 indicates that Day One interview centers for April 28, 2025 are PTS Kibuli, CPS Kampala, Kabalagala, Katwe, Nateete and Nsangi for Central Uganda.
On the same day, Northern Uganda will have Napak, Soroti City, Oyam, Omoro, Nebbi, Nwoya, and Pakwach.
Still on April 28, 2025, there will be interviews for Eastern Uganda, covering Mbale City, Sironko, Busia, Iganga and Kayunga.
April 28, 2025 will also see interviews for Western Uganda, covering Rukiga, Isingiro, Sheema, Bundibugyo, Masaka City, Sembabule and Kiboga.
The recruitment interview schedule for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) 2025 indicates that Day Two interview centers for April 29, 2025 will be Jinja Road (Jinja Road and Kira Road), Kalangala and Gomba for Central Uganda; Moroto, Kole, Kitgum, Zombo and Buliisa for Northern Uganda; Bukedea, Serere, Bulambuli, Tororo, Luuka and Kamuli for Eastern Uganda; as well as Rwampara, Buhweju, Ntoroko and Kabale for Western Uganda.
The recruitment interview schedule for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) 2025 indicates that Day Three interview centers for April 30, 2025 will be Kawempe (Kawempe, Wandegeya and Old Kampala), Kyotera and Butambala for Central Uganda; Apac, Lamwo, Madi-Okollo and Amuru for Northern Uganda; as well as Rubanda, Mbarara City, Mitooma, Fort Portal City and Hoima City for Western Uganda.
The recruitment interview schedule for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) 2025 indicates that Day Four interview centers for May 02, 2025 will be Wakiso (Wakiso, Kakiri and Nansana), Rakai and Mpigi for Central Uganda; Kotido, Kwania, Pader, Terego, Adjumani, and Kiryandongo for Northern Uganda; Ngora, Kalaki, Kween, Budaka, Bugweri, Kaliro and Jinja City for Eastern Uganda; as well as Kisoro, Ibanda, Bushenyi, Kamwenge and Kikuube for Western Uganda.

The recruitment interview schedule for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) 2025 indicates that Day Six interview centers for May 04, 2025 will be Kasangati Division, Kira Division, Luwero, Kalungu, Kassanda and Buikwe for Central Uganda; Kaabong, Alebtong, Dokolo, Maracha and Moyo for Northern Uganda; Namisindwa, Kapelebyong, Nakapiripiriti, Butebo and Namayingo for Eastern Uganda; as well as Rukungiri, Kiruhura, Kasese, Kyenjojo and Kibaale for Western Uganda.
The recruitment interview schedule for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) 2025 indicates that Day Seven interview centers for May 05, 2025 will be Naggalama, Mukono, Bukomansimbi, Mubende, Buvuma and Nakaseke for Central Uganda; Bududu, Pallisa, Mayuge and Katakwi for Eastern Uganda; Karenga, Otuke, Amolatar, Nabilatuk, Koboko and Yumbe for Northern Uganda; as well as Ntungamo, Lyantonde, Bunyangabu, Kyegegwa, and Kakumiro for Western Uganda.
