A strange whirlwind on April 08 blew away the tent in which the casket containing the body of the late Jacob Oulanyah was during a burial ceremony in Lalogi, Omoro District.
Some people have interpreted the ‘strange wind’ incident as showing that Oulanyah’s soul had not yet rested.
“Well…we’ve had an interruption. Strong wind blew away the tent that was [a] shed to the coffin of the late Jacob Oulanyah, which…in Luo tradition…shows clearly that something is not right and the spirit of the dead is really not rested,” said a commentator live on state broadcaster UBC.
Others claimed the incident could be a warning to those who could have a hand in the death of Oulanyah.
Earlier, Oulanyah’s father Nathan Okori told mourners that his son was poisoned. (Read Story Here).
