The Education Service Commission (ESC) has announced an extension of the deadline for receiving applications for the positions of Headteacher and deputy headteacher for up to 92 seed schools at secondary level.
Those interested in the jobs now have up to end of Sunday to submit their application letters and accompanying documents via an online portal.
“This is to inform all applicants for Education Service Commission internal advert no. 05/2024 in respect of posts of headteacher and deputy headteacher in seed secondary schools built under the Uganda Inter-Government Fiscal Transfer Program (UGIFT), that the deadline for receiving applications has been extended to Sunday, December 08, 2024 at 11:59 pm on the e-recruitment portal,” noted Mohammed Kaaya, the acting secretary for the Education Service Commission.
“The processes and procedures for application as outlined in the advert remain unchanged.”
The seed schools are Kotomor Seed S.S in Agago, Apapai Seed S.S Kalaki, Labongo Layamo Seed S.S Kitgum, Toroma Seed S.S Katakwi, Padibe East Seed S.S Lamwo, Olio Seed S.S Serere, Latanya Seed S.S Pader, Katugunda Seed S.S Bunyangabu, Amuru Town Seed School Amuru, Kichwamba Seed S.S Kabarole, Arocha Seed S.S Apac, Bwesumbu Seed S.S Kasese, Adeknino Seed S.S Dokolo AND Kanara Seed S.S Kitagwenda.
Other seed schools are Kole Seed S.S, Ruyonza Seed S.S Kyegegwa, Railway Seed S.S Lira City, Kigaraale Community S.S Kyenjojo, Awei Seed School Alebtong, Katungama Seed S.S Ntoroko, Etam Seed School Amolatar, Kibuuku Seed S.
