FULL LIST: See Names of 6,400 Teachers Shortlisted for History & Geography Jobs on Government Payroll; Aptitude Test Venues & Dates Announced

The Education Service Commission (ESC) has released the list of over 6,400 Geography and History teachers who have been shortlisted for government payroll jobs as Education (EO) Officers and Assistant Education Officers (AEO).

The ESC, through its acting Secretary Florence Abele, has also indicated the venues, dates and time for the aptitude tests that will happen in Kampala.

“The Test will take place from Saturday 18th June to Thursday 24th June 2022 starting at 7:00 am at Makerere University (College of Computing & Information Sciences) Building Block B, Kololo Secondary School and Mengo Senior School Kampala,” said Acting Education Service Commission Secretary Abele.

“Please come along with your valid national identity card and a pen. Please note that only candidates whose names appear on the shortlist will sit for the Test. Ensure that you follow the SOPs as stipulated by the Ministry of Health. Florence Abele, the Acting ESC Secretary.”

According to the lists, copies of which The Pearl Times has seen, over 6,400 teachers have been shortlisted for the jobs as EOs and AEOs.

Some 2,180 teachers were shortlisted for the Geography jobs as Education Officers while 1,254 were shortlisted for assistant education jobs.

A total of 1,493 were shortlisted for History teacher jobs as education officers while 1,457 were shortlisted as assistant education officers.
