Full List: See Names of 545 Teachers, Headteachers & Deputies Hired on Government Payroll for KCCA Schools

Uganda’s Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) has, through the Education Service Commission (ESC) hired up to 545 teachers to the positions of headteachers, deputy headteachers, senior education assistant and education assistant under Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

“The secretary, Education Service Commission informs candidates who sat for interviews between 16th – 30th January, 2025 in respect of the posts of headteacher, deputy headteacher, senior education assistant and education assistant under Kampala Capital City Authority advertised under internal advert no. 4/2024 & external advert no. 3/2024 that results are hereby released,” announced Acting ESC secretary Mohammed Kaaya. 

Successful candidates have been asked to pick their notification letters from the Education Service Commission Registry First Floor Room 111, Farmers House.

Headteachers numbers 1-12, Deputy Headteacher Numbers 1-40 and Senior Education Assistants Numbers 1- 132 will pick their notification letters on Tuesday, March 18, 2024 at 09:00 am.

Senior Education Assistants Numbers 133 – 207, and Education Assistants Numbers 1 -109 will pick their notification letters on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Education Assistants numbers 110 – 293 will their notification letters on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

The 545 going to pick their notification letters have been instructed to go with their original identification cards.

Kaaya has made it clear that “those whose names don’t appear on the lists should consider themselves unsuccessful.”

It should be remembered that during a previous recruitment exercise, some applicants accused some Education Service Commission officials of taking bribes, making it appear like they were selling the teaching jobs, but ESC denied these allegations. (See Details Here).
