Pastor Patience Rwabwogo of Covenant Nations Church preaching during Light Up Luwero for Jesus Mission Crusade
First daughter Pastor Patience Rwabwogo has postponed tomorrow’s special thanksgiving service for ‘Uganda’s peaceful elections,’ according to Covenant Nations Church elder Allen Kagina.
Pastor Patience Rwabwogo’s Covenant Nations Church had planned to host a special Thanksgiving Service where believers would “gather to thank God for granting our nation a peaceful election.”
The special thanksgiving service had been scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026 starting at 11am at Kololo Independence Grounds.
But the church has announced the event has been postponed.
“We wish to inform all our beloved brethren and guests that the Thanksgiving Service scheduled for Saturday, 28th March 2026 has been postponed until further notice,” Covenant Nations Church said in a brief statement.
“We remain grateful to God for granting our nation a peaceful election and look forward to gathering together soon in thanksgiving, prayer, and worship. Thank you for your continued love and support. Shalom.”
In a video, elder Allen Kagina emphasized that the special thanksgiving service had been postponed, and not cancelled.
The postponement of the special thanksgiving service for ‘Uganda’s peaceful elections’ is gaining attention given unsubstantiated allegations by exiled novelist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija regarding the health of first lady and education minister Janet Museveni and alluding to admission at Mbuya Military Hospital.
Patience Rwabwogo, wife to Odrek Rwabwogo, is largely considered the priestess of the Museveni family. Last year, a visiting American preacher prophesied that Patience Rwabwogo would be appointed to a big government position. (See Details Here and There).
