FINALLY: Uneb Announces UCE 2024 Results Release Date

Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has finally announced the UCE 2024 results release date. The release of Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) 2024 results, scheduled for this week, will follow that of PLE 2024 results last month.

Last year, a total of 379,620 candidates registered to sit end of O-level (senior Four – S4) exams. This figure included 369,477 who registered for the New Lower Secondary Curriculum (NLSC) and 10,143 for the UCE transitional examinations.

The release of national examination results — such as those for UCE — follow a briefing session by Uneb officials who take the line minister through the highlights on performance.

The Education Minister is normally the chief guest at the results release ceremonies, normally held at State House, under Janet Museveni’s tenure. Informing Ugandans that the wait was over, Uganda National Examinations Board has announced UCE 2024 results release date.

The Board says UCE 2024 results are set to be released tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

The results to be released include those for candidates known as the pioneers of the New Lower Secondary Curriculum and the last group doing the transitional UCE examinations.

Meanwhile, Uganda National Examinations Board has insisted it will block results for some schools. (See Why Here).
