In a decisive outcome from Makerere University’s digitally‑held students’ election, Gracious Kadondi of the National Unity Platform (NUP) has been elected the 92nd Guild President. Kadondi defeated a crowded field of other aspirants, continuing NUP’s strong influence in student politics.
