BREAKING: Museveni Fires Son Muhoozi as Commander Land Forces — But Promotes Him to Full General

Ex-Museveni Spy Warns: Muhoozi Creating Criminal Gang to Justify Coup & Overthrow His Father

President Museveni and his son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba

Uganda’s President Gen Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has fired his son Lt Gen Muhoozi as the Commander of Land Forces, the national army, Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has confirmed.

Museveni replaced Lt Gen Kainerugaba with Maj Gen Kayanja Muhanga.

Museveni also elevated Kayanja Muhanga to the rank of Lieutenant General and promoted his son to a full general.

“H.E the President and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has promoted and appointed General Officers as follows: 1. Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba promoted to General and continues with duties as Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations. 2. Major General Muhanga Kayanja promoted to Lieutenant General and appointed Commander Land Forces,” said Defence Ministry and UPDF Spokesperson Brig Gen Felix Kulayigye.

The Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs and UPDF fraternity congratulate the General Officers upon their well-deserved promotions and appointments.

The shakeup came hours after Muhoozi tweeted about his army’s capacity to invade and capture Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, within two weeks.

Hours after the tweets went viral on social media and prompted angry reactions from Kenyans, Museveni summoned his son and senior advisor on special operations for a meeting.

In the meeting that happened this morning, Muhoozi told his father that his generation’s quest to unite East Africa was unstoppable.

Muhoozi also hinted on changes his father would announce soon.

“Had a good discussion with my great father this morning. Apparently, my tweets scared Kenyans too much? He will announce the changes. There is a special prayer I shall make for our army,” wrote Muhoozi hours before he was dropped. “As I told my father H.E. Yoweri Museveni we younger East Africans have decided that we will be one nation! No amount of threats will stop us from that goal!”

As we have reported earlier, Muhoozi has made a shocking revelation about replacing his father Museveni in 2026. (Read Story Here).

Meanwhile, a prophet who accurately predicted William Ruto’s presidency has revealed the man who will be Uganda’s next president after Gen Museveni. (Read Shocking details Here).
