Bobi Wine and Museveni are the Same, Says Mabirizi

Perennial litigant Hassan Male Mabirizi has started a war of words with supporters of National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine after he claimed their ‘principal’ was the same as President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni.

Bobi Wine, who lost to Museveni in the January 14 presidential election, severally refers to the president as ‘dictator.’

But now, Mabirizi, who is currently pushing for thr prosecution of Bobi Wine for illegally gaining admission to Makerere University, says the singer-turned-politician is the same as the man he criticizes.

On several occasions, Mabirizi has waged legal wars against both Museveni and Bobi Wine.

“As a Muslim, can you choose either pork or alcohol just because you are hungry?” wondered the city lawyer.

According to Mabirizi, Bobi Wine has done more harm than good for the struggle against the Museveni regime.

He went to accuse the NUP leader of lack of a strategy and of creation of a gang of supporters who specialize in insulting members of the opposition that disagree with the Bobi Wine cult.

“He only destroyed the struggle, bringing a system of insulting those they disagree with. He returned the struggle back by over 10 years,” said Mabirizi.

Mabirizi had tried to block Bobi Wine’s attempt to run for the country’s top seat but failed.

“I told you he failed Mathematics and General Paper but I was trashed,” added the perennial litigant.

“But now see, what was the end result? How many people lost their lives as compared to Dr Besigye’s time?”
