
The list with names of students admitted on government sponsorship (national merit) at Muni University has been released.
Released by Muni University’s Office of the Academic Registrar, the list includes students admitted to pursue courses or academic programs such as Bachelor of Information Systems and Bachelor of Information Technology at the Faculty of Technoscience; as well as Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science and Bachelor of Nursing Science at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Other courses are offers at the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Education and Faculty of Management Sciences.

It should be remembered that every year, Government of Uganda sponsors about 4,000 students to pursue different academic programs or courses at public universities.
But over 70 per cent of those scholarships have been reserved for science-based courses or academic programs.
Apart from Kabale University and Mountains of the Moon Universities, other public universities include Makerere University, MUBS, Gulu University, Kyambogo University, Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), Muni University, Lira University, and Soroti University.
