Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) is expected to release the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) 2025 results soon.
A total of 817,998 candidates sat for the exams, with 428,398 girls and 389,589 boys.
Results are expected to be released in coming days if previous years’ timelines are anything to go by.
With local council elections on this week, the PLE 2025 release date could be pushed ahead.
Normally, the announcement of national examination results release date comes a day or two after Uneb officials have briefed the education minister.
No such briefing on the performance in PLE 2025 has happened.
Once the PLE 2025 results release date has been announced, the exercise will happen, and candidates can check results online via SMS and schools or centres via the Uneb portal.
Top performing districts have previously included Kampala, Wakiso, and Mukono.
