A self-styled Ugandan prophet has claimed that he met Jesus at the Kampala Expressway before he was catapulted to heaven to chill with God.
Prophet William Ssozi, the founder and director of Speke Hotel-based Prophet William Ssozi Ministries, says that he went to heaven and chilled with God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
According to Ssozi, who claims to have begun prophesying while in Primary Six, he was driving on the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway when he was carried to heaven where he met Jesus. In the same encounter, the prophet claims to have met his late father who had been a pastor while still on earth.
He also says that his father has turned into an angel who now serves Jesus, and is even the one who led the prophet to God’s son.
“I was driving on the expressway here in Kampala. It wasn’t a dream it was real because I was going and then the car got lifted up in mid air. I found myself in a place full of light in abundance and I was then told this is heaven,” Ssozi told NTV Uganda.
“When I was there, I met Jesus face-to-face for the first time. He then took me to meet my father because my father was a pastor; so, I met him in angelic form and he is the one who took me to Jesus.”
The Kampala prophet also claims that it was during this visit to heaven where he received impartation to serve as a prophet.
“I was told to kneel down just before Christ and my head was opened and he told me ‘I have given you a brain of a prophet and then he sealed it back and within an instant I was dropped back onto earth.'”
According to Ssozi, he spent about four hours in heaven. “It was around 3pm and by the time I came back, it was around 7pm; so I was away for almost four hours,” claimed the prophet.
Prophet Ssozi is not the first Ugandan ‘man of God’ to claim to have gone to heaven.
