NBS TV has issued an apology to health minister Dr Jane Ruth Aceng over a video aired in its March 10 news bulletin suggesting the minister had dodged the Covid19 Astrazeneca Vaccine jab.
Minister Aceng launched Covid19 vaccination on March 10, and took the jab.
But a video later emerged online showi a health worker reportedly helping her avoid the Astrazeneca jab.
The minister dismissed the video showing her dodging the jab as fake.
NBS TV has since admitted that Hon Jane Ruth Aceng indeed took the Covid19 vaccine jab.”
The station apologized over the video.
“Regrettably, in human error, part of the demo session footage appeared in our story, and was misconstrued to mean the minister didn’t take the jab,” said the station in a statement.
“We made a mistake. We sincerely apologize.”
