Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has confirmed the UCE 2025 results release date.
Uneb and education ministry officials agreed on the UCE 2025 Results Release Date after briefing first lady and minister of Education and sports Janet Museveni on the performance in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations.
The meeting between Janet Museveni and Uneb officials happened on Wednesday, 11 February 2026.
A total of 432,159 students sat for their S4 final exams between October 13, 2025, and November 7, 2025, from 4,308 schools or examination centres across the country.
Now, The Pearl Times has learnt that the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examination results for senior four students are set to be released this Friday, February 13, 2026.
Uneb is expected to officially announce Friday, February 13, 2026 as the UCE 2025 results release date.
The Minister of Education, Janet Museveni, will officially announce the results at State House, Nakasero.
It will be the first time release of the senior four or UCE results will happen concurrently with the senior one placement process, taking place at Lugogo from Thursday, February 12-13, 2026.
Also worth noting is that this is the second time candidates sat exams under the UCE new lower secondary competence based curriculum, where continuous assessment scores account for 20 per cent and the final UCE exams take 80 per cent.
