Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) says arrests have been made in the murder of popular TikToker and content creator Diana Namulinde aka Diana Skyz.
According to KMP deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, police at Kira Road are investigating a case of aggravated robbery and murder by strangulation that occurred on the night of February 03, 2026 in Kwaata Zone, Kyanja Ward, Kawempe Division in the capital Kampala.
Diana Namulinde aka Diana Skyz, a 24-year-old businesswoman and social media content creator, was living alone in an apartment in Kyanja. Owoyesigyire said that Diana Skyz’s body was discovered on February 04, 2026 “after friends went to check on her and found her apartment open.”
One of the suspects in the aggravated robbery and murder of Diana Namulinde aka Diana Skyz is a security guard at the Kyanja apartment.
“Earlier the same day, police arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen. Some of the recovered items were later identified as belonging to the deceased,” noted Owoyesigyire.
“A team of homicide detectives and Scene of Crime Officers visited and documented the scene. Several exhibits were recovered, and statements from relevant witnesses recorded.”
The KMP deputy spokesperson also said that one suspect in the aggravated robbery and murder of Diana Namulinde aka Diana Skyz was on the run.
“So far, three suspects have been identified, and two have been arrested to assist with investigations,” said Owoyesigyire. “The body of the deceased was conveyed to KCCA Mulago City Mortuary for postmortem examination. Investigations are ongoing.”
In recent years, there have been shocking murders of socialites and social media influencers. Last year, tycoon’s daughter Martha Ahumuza died after drinking with a male friend till late at Mezo Noir, a popular hangout in Kampala, as reported Here, There and Over There.
