THE WHOLE OF YOU! Ugandans Blast Pastor Mondo Mugisha for Sending Shs170,000 Only for Baby Mama’s Burial

A section of Ugandans have trolled Pastor Franklin Mondo Mugisha of Empowerment Christian Centre Church International for sending only Shs170,000 to help in the burial arrangements of his baby mama Sarah Nakuya.

Nakuya was the mother of one of Pastor Mondo Mugisha’s children. Unfortunately, she died at the Mulago National Referral Hospital where she had been admitted for days. She was for some days put in the Intensive Care Unit over complications caused by pneumonia, which doctors described as the cause of death.

Pastor Mondo was absent at burial of Nakuya. Presiding sheikhs accused the controversial pastor of neglecting his child and mother. It should be remembered that months before she died, Nakuya had accused Pastor Mondo of child neglect after the pastor failed to pay school fees for their child.

The ‘man of God’ had sworn that the child was not his and had wanted a DNA test conducted to prove his claims. He had also accused some pastors of facilitating Nakuya to spoil his image.

But Pastor Mondo would later pay Shs280,000 for his son, aged 11, who goes to St Lawrence Primary School. This action left Nakuya wondering whether the pastor had finally accepted that he was the true father of the child.

According to Nakuya’s relatives, Mondo Mugisha was shocked when he learnt of his baby mama’s death and sent Shs170,000 as condolence money, part of which was used to get the body from the mortuary to Nakuya’s home for burial.

But some Ugandans are not happy that Mondo sent only Shs170,000, which they say is little money. They have since been trolling him in the comments section of most of his social media posts, where he talks about financial matters and religion-related issues.
