The funeral program for the late former presidential press secretary Joseph Tamale Mirundi has been released. Tamale Mirundi breathed his last minutes before the close of August 13. He passed on at Kisubi Hospital where he had been admitted. The funeral program indicates activities that will be undertaken to mourn Tamale Mirundi, climaxing on the burial date.
The funeral program also includes requiem masses and night vigils at the two known homes of Tamale Mirundi: in Kyengera and Zana.
According to the Tamale Mirundi funeral program as released by his family, there will be vigil and mass at his residence in Zana on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
On Thursday, August 15, 2024, there will be a requiem mass for the late former press secretary at St. Gyaviira Catholic Church Bunamwaya starting at 10:00am.
Thereafter, the body of the late Tamale Mirundi will be transported to his Zana Residence for an overnight vigil.
On Friday, August 16, 2024, the body of the former political analyst will be taken to his Kyengera Residence for mass at 10:00am. After the mass, there will be an overnight vigil at the same home.
The following day, Saturday, August 17, 2024, the body of the late Tamale Mirundi will be transported to Kalagala Village in Kaliisizo, Kyotera District for a vigil.
The Tamale Mirundi burial date will be Sunday, August 18, 2024. The burial ceremony will start at 10am, according to the funeral program.
The former presidential press secretary and vocal commentator will be laid to rest at Kalagala Village, Kaliisizo in Kyotera District.
