UPDF Recruitment Exercise 2026: Details on Key Dates, Target Professions and Application Guidelines

Uganda’s national army, the UPDF, will recruit a little over 9,600 officers (9,627 to be exact) into infantry forces. The recruitment exercise will happen from July 01, 2024 to July 14, 2024, according to army and defence spokesperson Brig Gen Felix Kulayigye.
