UBOS Dismisses Claims That ED Dr Chris Mukiza Attempted to Shoot MP Kamuntu at Kololo Facility
Inspector General of Government (IGG) Beti Kamya has hinted on a plot to investigate Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) Executive Director Dr Chris Mukiza’s 2024 census numbers. IGG Beti Kamya has also reminded Ugandans how she forced UBOS officials to cough stolen money.
Available figures indicate that Government of Uganda injected Shs 328.74 billion in the 2024 census while development partners like UNHCR, UNDP and UNFPA provided up to Shs 18.5 billion to support the exercise.
