Ap Jefferson Stephen Okello of Royal City Ministries has prophesied a win for President Yoweri Museveni in the 2021 general election.

Ugandans will go to the polls to choose a president, members of parliament and local council leaders next year.

The Electoral Commission recently released a revised roadmap, but concerns are forcing the electoral body to change guidelines.

MUSEVENI RE-ELECTION ‘PROPHECY’

“Debates are going on concerning the next election, but in the vision of the spirit I saw President Yoweri Museveni ‘SWORN IN’ as President of Uganda amidst all contradicting voices,” Ap Okello claimed.

President Museveni has ruled Uganda since 1986.

He is most likely to be the candidate for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).

Dr Kizza Besigye, his fiercest challenger for two decades, hasn’t declared his candidature.

But recent media reports indicate that his Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party is courting him to challenge Museveni for a fifth time in a row.

Over 40 Ugandans have expressed interest in the country’s top office.

They include former army commander Maj Gen (Rtd) Mugisha Muntu of the Alliance for National Transformation, and Pastor Joseph Kabuleta.

Former security minister Lt Gen (Rtd) Henry Tumukunde and singer-turned-MP Bobi Wine are also presidential hopefuls.

MUSEVENI HANDOVER OF POWER

The lead pastor at the Najjera-based church also claimed God showed him Museveni peacefully handing over power.

“He will remain President of Uganda, after 2021, because God is getting Uganda to enter her Promised Land,” he said.

“And after this I saw a peaceful transfer of power from President Museveni to another person (who I will not mention for now).”

Okello also heard from God that Museveni still needed some time to help Uganda “fulfil her divine purpose in the African continent as the Pearl of Africa, the land of liberty, abundance, the food basket for the region, defender of peace with righteousness, and prosperity.”

TRUMP RE-ELECTION PROPHECY

He also had good news for US President Donald Trump.

Claiming he prophesied his 2016 surprise election, Okello saw God defending Trump “against all his enemies and they shall not prevail.”

“Trump’s presidency shall continue even after November election to bring prosperity and restore righteousness to America.”
