Muntu’s ANT Youth League Boss Abubaker Matanda Appointed Magistrate
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appointed Mugisha Muntu’s Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) youth leader Abubaker Matanda as a Grade one Magistrate.
Matanda is one of the 47 Grade One Magistrates appointed by the JSC on October 28.
An advocate, Magistrate Matanda has been to at least three political parties in recent years.
He was a youth leader in President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni NRM party.
Matanda later jumped ship to join former prime minister Amama Mbabazi’s ‘Go Forward’ political formation.
He was later associated with FDC before he joined Muntu’s ANT.
Matanda’s father, Hussein Matanda, previously served as a Resident District Commissioner (RDC) appointed by Museveni’s presidency ministry.
