Police on September 14 intercepted an unidentified man who tried to access Parliament premises with a human head in his bag.
The head is reported to have been wrapped well and the man had the intentions of delivering it to a destination that has not been known by the time of his arrest.
The head appeared to belong to a child and had been cut at the neck. Police has increased deployment at Parliament due to the incident, and thorough checking is a mandate to whoever wants to access the Parliament.
The acting director of communications to parliament Ms Hellen Kaweesa, said the yet to be identified man is already under arrest and will be investigated.
“The security personnel were inquisitive and asked him what gift it was, but he didn’t say anything; on checking him they found a human head among his items,” said Kaweesa.
It should be remembered that years ago, two pigs were dropped at Parliament by students who were protesting against the greedy MPs.
