Man who helped jilted girlfriend to kill Bushenyi radio presenter detained

Police in Bushenyi are holding Rashid Kansiime aka Beto for reportedly assisting Loyce Tihaineomwangire to kill her boyfriend and Hunter FM radio presenter Allan King Mandela Sports Master Mateeka.

Mateeka was reportedly killed by his girlfriend Tihaineomwangire, a receptionist at BFM, another radio station in Bushenyi.

Tihaineomwangire had told police that Kansiime Beto had helped him kill Mateeka.

According to Martial Tumusiime, the Bushenyi greater police spokesperson, officers picked Kansiime Beto from Omukatafaari in Kizinda Town.

Kansiime Beto had eluded arrest for one month.
