Uganda’s Uganda Education Service Commission (ESC) has released a list of teachers who passed competence tests and oral interviews for jobs as secondary school headteachers.
By passing the oral interviews, these teachers have inched closer to being appointed head teachers of government secondary schools.
The successful candidates are expected to pick their notification letters from the ESC offices in Kampala this Friday, April 12, 2024.
“The secretary, Education Service Commission informs candidates who sat for interviews between 4th – 7th March, 2024 in respect of the post of headteacher, government secondary education advertised under advert No. 6/2023 that results are hereby released,” announced Mohammed Kaaya, the acting ESC secretary.
“Candidates should pick their notification letters from the Education Service Commission Registry First Floor Room 111, Farmers House on Friday 12th April, 2024 from 09:00 am.”
The teachers, gearing up to become school bosses, have also been asked not to forget their cards.
“Please come along with your original identification card,” added Kaaya. “Those whose names don’t appear on the lists should consider themselves unsuccessful.”
